Heartland Youth Ballet Company Auditions

Final Auditions for Heartland Youth Ballet Company - Saturday, September 17th

Auditions will be held at 8801 F. Street at Robin Welch Dance Arts. Students who audition must be registered for classes at Robin Welch Dance Arts.

• 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm               Apprentice Company – ages 8 and up – beg/int. through intermediate
• 2:00 am – 3:00 pm               Senior and Junior Company – ages 12 and up

Heartland Youth Ballet Senior and Junior Company fees help pay for all rehearsals, choreography, administration, and fees charged our company to maintain membership in the regional dance organization. All senior company member must go to the 2011 Festival being held May 19-21 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. All junior company members are welcome to attend the Festival and pay the Festival fee of approximately $325 which includes all master classes, food, performance tickets, and parties. Other costs senior and junior company members will incur:

• Company membership fee per dancer -
• Travel to Festival and/or local to performances
• Festival hotel costs (3 students and one chaperone to a room will be appoximately $30- $50 per night per person)
• Individual company member festival fee of approximately $350 includes - all master classes, 3 performances, and all parties.

*Heartland Youth Ballet Apprentice members are not eligible to attend the regional Festival as they are too young. They will not need to spend money on extra costuming as they will wear their class uniforms for performances. They will perform dance demonstrations in Omaha through WhyArts? and other various local organizations.
