Parent Kick Off Meeting
The PTO Informational Kick Off Meeting highlighted the basic plans for this years group. One of the most talked about items involved the need for an email system to keep parents updated. With that in mind we will start a bi-weekly email soon to alert parents to upcoming information; vacation times, performances, fundraisers, and class events so keep an eye on your in-boxes. Also discussed was the OMAHA SMART CARD Fundraiser which will kick off the first week of classes. Students will receive an order form with a sample of the coupons/discounts the card offers. Each SMART CARD sells for $20.00 and we profit 75% making it a very good sell for the students. Again the money can be used for class tuition, Regional Dance America, Dance the World at Disney World or donated to the school.
Along with our meeting a couple parents and one teacher took advantage of the opportunity to sample a Zumba class. Zumba is one of many classes which will be offered during the times students will be receiving instruction. Be sure to purchase a punch card at the front office and take part in these fun classes. Also, an extra thank you to Roxanne for taking the time to teach this class for us.
